Today I have tried to link up my pictures. That didn't work quite well, if you could have me excused. Will fix it tomorrow. I guess I know what to do then! :-)

In my early twenties I went to school (Husflidsskole) for two years learning how to sew. After having my children I sewed a lots of clothes for them, but then I stopped. It was cheaper buying clothes.

Nowadays handcrafting has become popular again and people values homemade things more than ever. That's nice, I think. It is rather funny to give away things made by heart, that gives presents a new meaning.

Beside, it is more satisfying wearing clothes you have made yourself. I love making new applikations for each dress I sew. This is my kind of signature.

This is a crown made on a dress for a girl about ten years old. Each crown has it's own speciality.

From time to time you have to give yourself a break and wonder about what you do in life. My time is now, I guess. Life is short and for a long time I have been wondering what to do with all my sparetime. A friend of mine showed me some months ago a dress she had sewed and then I really got an inspiration. This is what I shall do too. I would like to sew! So I found back to my old interest and hobby, and wiped the dust off my 30 year old Bernina 830. It feels as good as new after some overhaling. Now I am looking forward to my future!
